The Finishers Edge is
the most versatile straight cutting saw guide
meant for cutting perfectly straight lines
in virtually any material that you can cut
using a skill saw. It gives you accuracy and
reliablity allowing the professional and the
home owner a worth while advantage.

It doesn't pay to
make mistakes.
The Finishers Edge was originally created for
cutting lines in decorative concrete by Brian
Honcoop. Cutting decorative cutting pays well
until there is a mistake. The Finishers Edge
was built to reduce the potential for these
mistakes. The invention was half neccessity
and half enginuity wrought from the frustrations
of having to cut straight lines in concrete
while at the same time keeping the saw plate
from scratching the finished material during
cutting. Once the product was built, Brian
was able to use it to easily cut thousands
of feet of decorative concrete, reducing per-foot
costs and increasing accuracy.
After using the product so successfully on
concrete cutting it became obvious just how
useful the Finishers Edge was at cutting materials
of all sorts including plywood, finished
products like doors and windows,
sheet metal, decks and most
any other material!

The Finishers Edge is
very simple. The Finishers Edge operates on
friction rather than clamps reducing the time
it takes to set up for cuts.
Here is what you do:
- Align the track
approximately 1 1/8" from your line
for worm drive saws and 2 1/8" for
Porter Cable saws.
- The slip resistant
material hlds the track firmly in place,
even during cutting so you don't have
to!
- On your circular
saw, set the blade to the desired depth
then align the saw onto the track so the
UHMW plastic puck into the track and guides
the saw.
- For cuts longer
than 10 feet, put tracks end to end and
leap frog them until desired length is
achieved or set tracks on several lines
so you can easily move from one cut to
the next.
